Nine Twenty Technology are delighted to be partnering with a leading technology company in the recruitment of a UX/UI Designer.

Due to continued success and growth, they are looking for an ambitious UX/UI Designer to support their ambitions in 2021.

You will be the first UI/UX Design specialist, working closely with the Head of Product and wider technical teams.

You will be passionate about user experience and capable of working in a fast-paced technology environment. You will be a natural communicator with creative ideas, while managing key stakeholders.

The successful Designer will be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts. They will be able to transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional designs.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with B2C and B2B websites and apps
  • Deliver design artefacts to communicate UX ideas and solutions
  • Design and maintain UX/UI patterns and design systems to deliver Product and UX/UI improvements and new product feature integration
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas
  • Working on the integration of findings from recent discovery work, plus consideration of how to optimise those features.
  • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards
  • Present and defend designs and key deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders

Technical Requirements:

  • Strong web design skills
  • Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and sitemap
  • You must have an excellent understanding of design elements such as typeset, images, and basic design principles such as layout principles, form design principles and more.
  • Strong UX portfolio
  • Websites and product design
  • Expertise of visual and interaction design.
  • Responsive web design
  • UX methodologies and patterns
  • Understanding of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS trends
  • Experience using one of the following: Sketch, Invision, Zeplin, Photoshop or Jira.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
