Nine Twenty's client is a leading travel business based in Glasgow City Centre, who are looking to add a number of Travel Sales Consultants to their growing team. This is a telephone based role where you will be dealing with travel partners, such as airlines and booking agents on a daily basis. 

You will be responsible for working with travel partners to build packages to suit the clients bespoke needs, and maximising returns whilst providing a level of service that exceeds all expectations!

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Answer inbound calls effectively and efficiently
  • Promote air and ground products to meet targets
  • Offer expert insight and guidance regarding  locations
  • Build tailor-made packages
  • Always looking to build upon location knowledge to allow you to become an expert in your specific region

Experience required:

  • Travel sales experience would be fantastic, but not essential
  • A desire to exceed targets and provide the highest level of service
  • A genuine passion for travel
  • A travel and tourism qualification or experience travelling to long haul destinations would be beneficial

This position is permanent, 5 days/37.5 hours per week, working shift patterns between the hours of 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday and Saturdays from 9am to 5pm on a rotational basis. The provisional start date is Monday 2nd October 2017. 

 

A full, comprehensive induction training programme is provided by their dedicated Learning & Development team and successful candidates will be required to complete this for the first 8 weeks therefore full attendance is mandatory during this time.
