Nine Twenty are delighted to be assisting the recruitment of a Technical Pre-sales Consultant for their dynamic service client based in Glasgow.

Working as a Technical Presales Consultant you will be crucial to the business in building productive relationships with clients.

You will provide technical assistance and guidance during the pre-sales process by identifying customers technical and business requirements, prior to designing a solution, consulting with technical partners about capabilities, and supporting business sales teams, account managers and partners on proposal activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To attend meetings with potential Clients to determine technical and business requirements and ensuring that all necessary information is collated prior to producing a solution
  • Provide technical solutions in a professional manner and to agreed timeframes
  • Create and confidently deliver technical presentations internally and externally
  • Work with internal technical teams to feedback on issues with current products & services and provide input around new products & services.
  • Builds productive relationships internally and externally, fostering teamwork by keeping colleagues updated on activities
  • Sell technical solutions to the customer with professionalism and enthusiasm
  • Provide accurate and timely management information, to include - activity reports, bid reviews, project forecasts, KPI’s
  • To structure and produce compelling sales proposals/commercial and technical documentation

Experienced required:

  • Strong understanding of the Telecoms and IT sector is essential
  • Strong business experience with at least 1 years in sales, pre-sales, consulting or support.
  • Experience of working in a services based environment.
  • Well-developed sales and technical aptitude, with a demonstrable understanding of how to support the sales process.
  • Strong presentation, communication, organisation and time management skills.
  • Ability to write, develop and deliver client documentation
  • Ability to identify and present solutions to problems – strong problem solving mentality.
  • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure is essential.
  • Must have acute commercial acumen.
