Nine Twenty are currently working with a Microsoft Gold Certified ERP Partner, who have extensive experience and expertise in successfully implementing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Operations and Dynamics AX! Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a skilled Solutions Architect, with a proven track record track record in the design of comprehensive solutions for clients, to help build their Enterprise vision and grow this practice through the delivery of high profile and high value ERP projects.

Overview of the role

A Solutions Architect (Dynamics AX/365) will utilise their technical and consulting skills to:

  • Carry out pre-sales engagements, building a comprehensive understanding of customer requirements and business challenges, and building and delivering custom demonstrations of proposed solutions;
  • Provide the technical input into proposals and tender responses covering solution definition, features and benefits, compliance with requirements, and cost/effort estimates.
  • Work with clients to understand and define their business processes and analysis requirements and to design a solution using Dynamics AX/365 system accordingly;
  • Design and test customisations to the Dynamics AX/365 system, and work with the client through acceptance of these;
  • Guide projects along through daily communications with the customer or project manager;
  • Participate in informal or formal design and architecting sessions with fellow consultants;

What you will bring:

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills coupled with the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team, delivering a wide range of services to their clients. In addition, they will possess skills and expertise including:

  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably Dynamics AX or Dynamics 365 for Operations, including areas such as:
    • Financials;
    • Stock/Trade & Logistics / Procurement;
    • Project Accounting;
    • Fixed Assets;
    • Manufacturing / Master Planning / Manufacturing Execution;
    • CRM;
    • HR & Payroll.
  • Software design experience including extensions to off-the-shelf applications, and integration with other systems;
  • Experience of leading both formal and informal customer workshops sessions;
  • Experience of giving pre-sales demonstrations and presentations;
  • Experience of estimating costs / effort for software development and ERP implementation services;
  • A strong self-learning ability with an inquisitive mind to keep up to date with evolving product changes.
