Software Engineer - Edinburgh/Midlothian

What we need from you?

We are on the lookout for a Software Engineer to join the team!  The ideal candidate would have 3 years+ commercial experience in Web Development.

The individual must possess a broad skillset in which JavaScript & PHP is essential.

Technical Requirements:

• Strong PHP (7.X)
• Symfony,
• Knowledge of API Integrations
• JavaScript including modern frameworks such as React or Vuejs.
• SQL
• Git
• HTML & CSS

Other useful experience and skills:

• Vue.js & multiple programming languages experience
• Experience of external data services (eg RESTful services), inc. programmatically interacting with different data formats
• Linux CLI experience
• Degree in Computer Science (or a related discipline), or relevant industry experience
• Understanding of SOLID principles & design patterns
• Experience writing tests for your work
