The team have a transformative and innovative approach to IoT and are recognised globally with their market leading products.

The business is going through a period of exceptional growth and is looking for passionate Software Development Manager to join the management team in Glasgow.

The role:

  • You will be responsible for the whole software development life cycle and manage the process against project plans.
  • You will be responsible for the management of the development team, ensuring the highest standard of work is produced.
  • Working in an agile environment, you will grow and develop the team, through excellent leadership and mentorship.
  • You will work closely with the senior technical teams, architectural and product, ensuring we drive great solutions.

Technical background required:

  • Strong software development background - OOP - the tech stack is Node, Typescript, PHP, Kotlin and MySQL
  • Experienced with APIs
  • Experiencing of working in an agile environment 
  • Excellent knowledge of the best software engineering practices
  • Track record of leading a technical team
  • Knowledge of how to grow software development teams
  • Strong business sense
