Digitonic currently have an opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer.

There are two technical teams at Digitonic, messaging and acquisition.

The successful candidate will be joining as a Senior Software Engineer and be member of a small niche development team.

Undertaking code reviews, and providing evaluation and feedback on the production of work.

Technical background:

  • Operating as a Senior Software Engineer 
  • 5 years’ experience with object-oriented principals and knowledge of common design patterns such as MVC, symfony or laravel
  • Understanding of big data and associated database challenges
  • MySQL development, configuration and optimisation.
  • Knowledge of front-end and back-end best practices.
  • Experience of Unix / Linux.
  • Object oriented design experience.
  • Understanding with one or more scripting languages
  • Familiarity with one or more compiled languages
  • Consuming and developing REST APIs.
  • Experience with source control, e.g. SVN/GIT.
  • You will be working with a modern technology stack within OOP, getting to work with the latest and greatest!
