Senior Python Developer - Dundee & Angus

Nine Twenty Technology are delighted to be partnering with a progressively growing technology company in Glasgow in the recruitment of a Senior Python Developer.

The business provides bespoke hosting solutions for financial services across the globe. They have 18 data centres internationally to support their customers requirements.

The role:

• Working in a niche agile team, you will be given ownership of the architectural designs and solutions.
• You will have the opportunity to push the boundaries with technology, implementing new technology to achieve the best solutions.
• As the Senior Python Developer, you will be given exposure to a variety on projects throughout the technology team

The technology environment:

• You will be working in an open-source environment, working closely with the wider technical teams in Networking, QA, BA and Design.
• We are currently working with python, django, postgres, Celery, Redis, Ansible, Docker Apache, Nginx, Netbox and MAAS.

Your background:

• We are looking for a self-starter, a Senior Python Developer who can hit the ground running and help drive the team forward.
• Experience of working in multiple agile environments
• Involved in the full development life cycle
• Strong Python skills
• Web application development
• API’s
• Experience of writing automated tasks
• Unit testing

Good to know:

• Understanding of networking protocols
• VMware
• Payment gateways
