A new opportunity has popped up for a Silicon Valley start-up in Glasgow, in the search for a Senior Marketing Executive.

The purpose of this role will be to help them enter the UK market and by doing so they will help schools recognise student safety and help them take active steps to protect their children.

You will be a highly motivated, self-starter who will work with the US marketing team on online and offline marketing collateral to support the business and its growth within UK and EMEA markets.


The Role:

In a well-rounded role, you will be responsible for working closely with the sales team, create compelling content, strategizing a marketing roadmap, case studies, events/roadshows, stakeholder management, press, social and market analysis. Due to the main marketing function being centralized in the US, you will be less hands on and all about organisation and coordination.

Primary Job Responsibility:

  • Work with EMEA Director on UK + EMEA requirements
  • Work with US Marketing team on localisation and utilising existing content
  • Work with US Marketing team to replicate existing Marketing roadmap, localise and deliver
  • Develop case studies and customer engagement/references
  • Own tradeshows and events, on-site and remotely
  • Work with Partners + Distributors to provide content and individual Marketing strategies
  • Manage relationships with alliances such as Edugeek and expand
  • Work with industry press to enhance reputation and engagement
  • Focus on demand generation via socials and other online verticals
  • Keep up to date Market analysis of competition, working in conjunction with the Sales team
  • Manage On24 webinars series’ with Sales

Essential Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • 3 years+ marketing experience, in the software indsutry would be advantageous
  • A proven track record of exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A dynamic personality with a drive to reach decision makers is essential!
  • Excellent negotiation skills and an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Adaptable sales approach and ability to covert business in challenging environments
  • Be self-motivated, self-driven and focused on quality and profitability business
  • Abilities to prioritise workload
