Nine Twenty are pleased to assist our London Based client who are looking for a Senior PHP developer to join their dynamic team! The company in question reside in the medical space and focus on building robust and scaleable technology to assist in clinical studies. 

They are looking for an experienced Senior Backend web developer to help build and maintain our award winning patient data capture platform. This is an  opportunity to be a key member of the team focusing on the server-side logic within their SOA system ensuring high performance and responsiveness. They are looking for a proactive and driven individual to take responsibility for key projects and ensure robust delivery of new functionality.

Requirements: 

  • Proficient knowledge of PHP, with emphasis on PHP 7.0
  • Knowledge of MVC PHP Frameworks (Yii, Laravel)
  • Experience in using workflow automation tools such as Gulp or Grunt
  • Experience in using Less
  • Understanding accessibility and security compliance
  • User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
  • Experience in developing RBAC systems
  • Experience in using and writing JSON-based RESTful web services
  • Experience in creating data structures in relational databases (MySQL) and NoSQL solutions(DynamoDB)
  • Appreciation of multiple delivery platforms such as mobile vs desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
  • Experience and appreciation of automated testing and unit tests (Codeception)
  • Understanding of “session management” in a distributed server environment
  • Understanding and experience in front-end technologies and platforms, such as Javascript,HTML5, and CSS3
