Senior Cloud Engineer - Glasgow

Nine Twenty Technology are delighted to be recruiting a Senior Cloud Engineer for their global technology client on the outskirts of Glasgow. 

The successful candidate will be joining a global team who are actively involved in the SaaS incident management process. The team deliver enterprise systems and networking availability. 

Your background: 

You will have excellent troubleshooting skills, with an eye for detail. You will have the ability to work with multiple teams and have excellent organisational skills. 

Technical:

• 5+ years experience within data centre/ hosting operations
• Good knowledge of Internet Technologies
• Strong scripting skills
• Experience developing architectures
• Experience with DNS, IP and Certificate Management
• Strong SQL administrative skills
• Elasticsearch
• Experience with SaaS

The role:

• Maintenance of production, DR, and UAT instances
• Monitoring of production systems from availability/performance/stability point of view
• Participate in incident management
• Working closely with SaaS Security Operations
• Work with the Compliance and Risk Management teams t
• Assist in the planning, designing, and implementation of new SaaS initiatives
