Nine Twenty are working exclusively with our Edinburgh based client, who are market leaders in the Energy sector. 

As a Senior Account Manager you will focus on retaining and developing strategic Energy Partner accounts, and ensuring that all Energy Partners continue to receive exceptional service and support.

As Senior Account Manager you will assume responsibility for key Energy Partner relationships, supported by an existing experienced Account Manager. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will target organic growth within these accounts, and will have responsibility for managing and developing the business relationship

You will contribute to and lead internal and external performance reviews focusing on improvement opportunities that will help achieve organic growth targets.  You will also support the New Business Development team with sales related activity, helping to manage and develop new sales opportunities.

This role is based in central Edinburgh. You will spend time visiting Energy Partners and other market stakeholders. You will also have opportunity to attend conferences, trade fairs and exhibitions. This role will involve travel within the UK.


About you

Energy industry experience is a key requirement.  Knowledge of the GB electricity industry, regulatory environment and an understanding of how Energy Partner consumption costs (commodity costs, charges, taxes and tariffs) are presented will be extremely beneficial for this role.

This role requires an enthusiastic, organised Senior Account Manager. You will need to evidence proven account management experience, together with a record of target achievement. The company will provide specific product and service training. You will have a strong desire to learn, first class relationship management skills, and be comfortable with all aspects of business development in a service environment.
