We currently have an urgent requirement for a Ruby Developer. The successful candidate will join the Dublin office, who are going through an exciting period of growth. With their head office in Glasgow, you will be working with a global team, joining a strong team of 20 in Dublin.

The successful Ruby Developer will be one of the first technical hires in the Dublin office, working on a recently launched masterplanning tool.

As the Senior Ruby Developer, you will be developing new and existing features in a codebase that is written in Ruby, C++ and JavaScript
Interfacing with internal and external applications and services
Requirements capture and analysis from internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Skills:

Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline such as Computer Science.
A minimum of 4 year’s experience developing code as a Ruby Developer in a commercial environment.

Experience with some or all of the following languages:

HTML / JavaScript / CSS
Ruby (or Python)
C++
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills, self-motivated team player

Desirable Skills:

Experience working with Web Services
Experience with UI development ideally React
Experience working with database or other file formats
Experience working as part of an Agile team
Knowledge of version control tools, ideally Perforce

On offer is a salary of €60,000 - €70,000 - excellent benefits package.
