Nine Twenty Technology are delighted to assist in the recruitment of a Part Time Marketing Manager on behalf of our well established Glasgow based technology client. This role is a 9-12 month maternity cover, working 22.5 hours per week over 3 days. Our Client requires an experienced Marketing Manager who understands their business, the technology they offer and the benefits this brings to high value clients.

The role is varied and would suit a person who has a strategic and flexible approach who strives to meet deadlines and drive leads and who is happy to both manage and deliver. You will be passionate, creative and results driven.  Although many activities will take a digital focus, we are looking for an individual who has experience across the full Marketing Mix including PR/Events and other on and offline activities to maximise audience requirements

Working closely with the Managing Director and Sales team, the Marketing Manager will oversee and implement the Marketing strategy and manage 3 members of the team to deliver and implement the strategy and report on results and ROI.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee team delivery of the current Marketing Strategy, closely aligned with Sales, which focuses on high value, targeted prospects. Activity includes Digital - Paid/Social/SEO and other elements of Marketing Mix – PR/Events/Promotional Materials/Communications
  • Strategic input into evolving Marketing and Business Strategy.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting on targets/ROI that feeds into and supports strategic progress.
  • Development of relevant PR/Communications
  • Create marketing & business development materials, from promotional brochures through to assisting with larger tender/proposal documents.
  • Develop concept and oversee delivery of any new Marketing Campaigns.
  • Leading on event initiatives/business development initiatives and preparation including the attendance at events/producing materials and the all-round experience for the potential customer.
  • Using market awareness and product knowledge to identify hot topics and trends which support the groups’ content plans and marketing activities.

Key Skills:

  • A track record of success with developing and implementing marketing campaigns..
  • Good copy writing skills essential and experience of writing blogs an advantage.
  • Experience of managing a marketing/digital marketing team.
  • Experience and understanding of all marketing channels and the ability to evaluate and select the correct mediums for each project is essential.
  • Experience of using or overseeing the management of relevant software for delivery and reporting, e.g. Google Analytics, Buffer or other social analytics, SEM rush etc…,
  • CRM knowledge would be an advantage and interest in technology and its benefits essential.
  • Previous experience of B2B or technology industry would be an advantage.
  • Experience of working with external suppliers.

Qualifications:

  • Recognised Marketing Qualification (e.g. graduate in relevant discipline or professional marketing qualifications from CIM or IDM)

Salary:

£30 – 35,000 (Pro Rata) Depending on experience.
