Nine Twenty are delighted to be partnering with our long term client Toolstop in the search for a Marketing Manager.  Toolstop is one of the UK's largest online retail stores (B2C) for Power Tools, Hand Tools and other related trade products selling quality branded products. In January this year Toolsaver(the wholesale (B2B) division) launched, with growing success.

Toolstop are looking for a motivated and driven Marketing Manager with a proven track record in marketing who will identify strategies and techniques to attract customers to the business. You will have a hands-on, can do attitude and will be able to communicate ideas to the wider team. The role is a perfect blend of digital marketing within an e-commerce environment, along with traditional offline marketing duties. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of the growing dynamic team with great prospects for the future. You will report to the E-Commerce Director and be responsible for the whole Marketing strategy and team with the goal to deliver effective marketing programs that will help our reputation and promote growth.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to find answers about consumer requirements, habits and trends.
  • Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns.
  • Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, advertising, events planning etc.)
  • Liaise with external vendors to execute promotional events and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with in-house marketing and other professionals to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts.
  • Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (social media, e-mail, printed media etc.)
  • Assist in analysing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies.
  • Undertake individual tasks of a marketing plan as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as marketing specialist or similar role.
  • Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Paid Search/Affiliate Marketing/Social media etc.) and market research methods.
  • Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools.
  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM) and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords etc.)
  • Strong data analysis and data manipulation skills.
  • Well-organized and detail oriented.
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills.
  • Commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind.
  • BSc/BA in marketing, communications or equivalent.
