Nine Twenty Technology are delighted to assist in the recruitment of a Part Time Marketing Manager on behalf of our well established Glasgow based technology client.

This a permanent position, working hours are 22.5 hours per week over 3 days. 

Our Client requires an experienced Marketing Manager who understands their business, the technology they offer and the benefits this brings to high value clients within various sectors. To be successful this role you will need to immerse yourself in our product, processes and the audience.

As a manager who is a great communicator with a passion for storytelling, you will be responsible for developing/creating and delivering high quality, thought provoking and inspiring content that will attract, inform and engage our specific audiences. You will be able to write content but also manage suppliers to support with elements of content writing or design where/if needed.

In this role, you’ll develop new and adapt original content specifically for the public sector vertical as well as generic content to support other elements of the marketing strategy. You’ll ensure all content is on brand and aligned with the right channel.

Working closely with the Managing Director and Sales team, you will manage from concept through to implementation and measurement, content across a variety of channels and manage various suppliers for support where needed. Key areas of the role include:

  • Experience of writing content for various industries - business knowledge and data to support development and tailoring of content to ensure maximum and measurable engagement.

  • Supporting the Director and overall strategy, work with suppliers to create and deliver varied and educational content that engages and informs potential clients.  This may include:

    • Guides

    • Whitepapers

    • Ebooks

    • Videos/Vlogs

    • Blogs

    • Newsletters

    • Social Posts

    • PR/PR Content

  • Strategic input into evolving Marketing and Business Strategy.

  • Work with & manage external suppliers to support with on brand design of content and using suppliers that may help with some content writing mentioned above if required.

  • Configure any content updates onto WordPress and ensure SEO Optimisation without losing brand tone of voice, customer focus and engagement.

  • Manage editorial calendar in support of overall strategy this also includes social.

  • Work with team to co-ordinate and plan activities/budget/channel ideas and feed into overall strategy.

  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting on targets/ROI associated with your role that feeds into and supports strategic progress.

  • Using market awareness and product knowledge to identify hot topics and trends which support content plans and marketing activities.

  • Support with copy for marketing & business development materials, from promotional brochures through to assisting with larger tender/proposal documents.

  • Ensure all copy and edits are brand compliant and optimised for search and social.

  • Create/Support with compelling PPC copy/Paid social that is optimised for conversion


  • Recognised Marketing/Communications/PR qualification (e.g. graduate in relevant discipline or professional qualifications)


  • A track record of success with developing and implementing successful and inspirational content

  • Excellent copy writing and storytelling skills

  • Experience and understanding of all marketing channels and the ability to evaluate and select the correct channels for delivery of content.

  • Experience of using wordpress

  • Experience of or understanding of relevant software for delivery and reporting, e.g. Google Analytics, Buffer or other social analytics, SEM rush etc…,

  • CRM knowledge would be an advantage and interest in technology. You will want to immerse yourself in what we deliver so you can write/develop compelling content

  • Experience within Financial Services sector or Media to allow you to create relevant content for that audience and hit the ground running.

  • Experience of working with/managing external suppliers.

£30,000 – 35,000 (Pro Rata) Depending on experience.
