A brand new role has arisen with a fast-growing retail business for a Marketing Account Manager with at least 2 years of experience who is looking for the next step in their career to join their high caliber, dynamic in-house marketing team based in Glasgow but WFH days on offer.

As a Marketing Account Manager, you will have a solid understanding of marketing in a fast-paced industry(FMCG or retail and bonus). It is essential that you have 2 years experience in a similar environment. Every individual within this ambitious and passionate marketing team is committed to promoting creative and cost-efficient growth in a highly competitive and exciting marketplace.


Your Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Meeting & Consulting with key internal stakeholders to discuss campaign requirements and objectives.
  • Formulating marketing strategies for your brands, creating a media schedule to support those strategies, and delivering the required business results.
  • Building relationships with the local community, businesses and attending events in the local area to help drive key activities to assist the growth of the business.
  • Develop timely briefs for the creative team that will accurately and effectively meet the requirements of the marketing campaign and commercial objectives.
  • Working with the team at the site to provide relevant information to the creative and digital teams.
  • Reviewing and analyzing local marketing from competitors.
  • Budgetary management for the relevant account ensuring all activity comes in on time and on budget meeting objectives
  • Chairing monthly marketing meetings with your brands and the Head of Marketing
  • Oversee daily marketing activity ensuring total accuracy and legal compliance.
  • Analysis & reporting of marketing performance to advise of required changes to marketing activity
  • Manage potential daily trading asks for your accounts
  • Regular meetings with relevant Marketing team members, to ensure a full understanding of your accounts. (Account Managers, Creative and DSM’s)


  • 2 to 3 years of marketing experience
  • Experience working in a similar position
  • Able to demonstrate a solid understanding of marketing channels.
  • Understanding of budgets and sales performance reports
  • Passionate about marketing and open to self-learning

  • Strong Verbal communication skills
