A brand new Lead Digital Designer role has arisen with one of the top advertising agencies in EMEA with an array of awards and solidifying their expertise by being a Google Premier Partner Agency. With offices in Ireland and the big smoke, they are now growing their new office in the heart of Glasgow(you can be based anywhere in Scotland, as long as you pop in for meetings). These types of roles don't pop up very often!

They offer a range of services across Search, Display, Video, Paid Social advertising, SEO, e-commerce, and performance creative and content. Everything they do has a focus on driving ROI for their clients.  The main focus of the design team, and this role is to interpret a brief, develop creative concepts, and produce a range of digital assets to ensure maximum impact for our client’s digital campaigns. In this role, you will be the highest level of authority on all things design.

The Role

The ideal candidate will need to be up for the challenge, ambitious, creative, and enthusiastic about all things creative and digital marketing. They will have a positive attitude and exceptional attention to detail. This role is for someone who is passionate about creating the best content to engage with the audience whether it’s through YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, or LinkedIn.

Here's an idea of what you'll get up to on a daily basis:

  • Work closely with the creative team to answer creative briefs, developing creative concepts, and creating original content
  • Design, produce and package digital design assets for use
  • Review and edit content in line with the campaign performance objectives
  • Reformatting content to maximize performance across various digital platforms
  • Collaborate with teams of specialists to identify opportunities for clients
  • Ongoing communication with clients to maximize work efficiency and rollout of work
  • Create great content working within the brand guidelines of clients
  • Manage output across the creative team
  • Mentor and develop more junior members within the team
  • Keep up to date with the latest digital trends to ensure they are creating excellent content for their clients
  • Develop your own skills, as well as staying ahead with the latest digital trends!

Your Experience:

  • Min 4 years Graphic Design (including motion) experience in a similar role and relevant qualification
  • Social native and has experience developing and creating video content for social and/or YouTube
  • Proficient in the use of Adobe creative suite (i.e., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, After Effects, and Premiere Pro)
  • Proven ability to interpret briefs and provide creative insight
  • Track record in interpreting, developing, and implementing brand creatives across a range of different channels
  • Knowledge of the constraints and adaptations needed for utilizing content across a number of different platforms
  • Knowledge/awareness of copyright laws and licensing
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to effectively interpret and implement feedback
  • Ability to meet deadlines as you will be working in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize workload
  • Meticulous spelling, grammar, and good attention to detail
