Nine Twenty Technology are delighted to be partnering with their long term client based in Glasgow in the recruitment of a Junior Project Manager.

A diverse opportunity for a Project Coordinator/Junior Project Manager to join a busy Product Development team in the vibrant West End of Glasgow.

This opportunity is ideal for a well organised and logically minded individual who is IT literate and project orientated and looking to start a career in project management or product development.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be expected to manage administrative processes which are critical to the timely delivery of projects, including the management and creation of project documents, reports and scheduling. Ongoing training and support will be provided, and there will also be opportunities to contribute to the presentation of research outputs and monitoring of project management metrics. Other administrative tasks, such as assisting with meeting and travel arrangements will also be required.

The employee will have the opportunity to be part of the development of innovative technology products and services. There are continually new experiences to be had and opportunities to learn and progress within the business.

Must Have:

To be considered for the position, you must have:

  • Highly organised and motivated, with the ability managing competing requirements.
  • High levels of attention to detail/accuracy with a strong commitment to quality.
  • Co-ordinating meetings, project team calendars and minute taking.
  • Ensure list of tasks are communicated with team.
  • Track daily progress and escalate any problems.
  • Act as a central point of contact for any project communications.
  • Willing to learn new tools and ways of working.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-player.
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Windows Operating System and the MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to prioritise own workload.
  • Ability to communicate in a transparent and reliable manner.
  • An aptitude for learning which facilitates an understanding of terminology and systems.
  • Must be articulate and a good communicator – written and spoken English.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience of working within a Telecommunication/IT based role.
  • Experience of working within a B2B environment, managing cross-functional teams, partners, and external suppliers.
  • Understanding of M2M and IOT technologies in a business-to-business support environment.
  • Experience using Atlassian products such as Jira, Service Desk and Confluence.
  • Familiarity with MS Project is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in a administrator/project support role.
  • Good interpersonal skills, including ability to build remote relationships with team members based outside of the UK.
  • Knowledge of basic project lifecycle.
