Nine Twenty Technology are delighted to be partnering with the leading innovative travel brand Trtl in the recruitment of a Java Developer. 

Trtl is a leading travel retail brand in Glasgow formed in 2010 that specialises in the creation, sales and marketing of innovative travel products. 

The business has scaled up significantly over the last 2 years and they are now heavily investing in their technology team. You will be joining an award winning, fast paced growing brand with international presence. 

The Role:

  • The role involves working closely with the R&D team and will focus on automating business processes.
  • The business is looking for a Java Developer who has excellent communication skills
  • You will work on new and exciting greenfield project work on a global scale You will be using machine learning techniques to analyse data. 
  • We are looking for an individual who is adaptable to change and enjoys being involved in the technical decision process. 
  • You will love problem solving and be passionate about delivering pragmatic solutions that make a real difference. 

Technical Background:

  • Excellent clean coding skills
  • Many years of experience delivering web application projects in a professional environment.
  • Experience with one Object Orientated programming language - Java, Python or PHP
  • Great communication skills and the ability to work with people across our business to design the best tools.
  • Experience with JavaScript, ideally node.js 
  • SQL
  • HMTL, CSS
  • AWS – or similar cloud platform

Good to have:

  • Leadership skills
  • Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence experience
  • DynamoDB
