Nine Twenty Technology are partnering with a leading technology company who deliver marketing services and technology products to the investor relations sector in the recruitment of an IT Infrastructure Engineer.

The Role:

This is a newly created role, who will support the Lead DevOps Engineer. The IT Infrastructure Engineer will define and deliver internal IT systems to increase productivity, efficiency and communication across the business. 

You will be responsible for monitoring and alerting of several key systems while delivering key statistics via reporting and dashboards.

You will also be working closely with the DevOps team to manage the networking infrastructure. The following is a sample of some of the key systems and tools:

  • Apple MacBook Pro / iMacGoogle Workspace (Mail, Calendar, Drive)
  • Atlassian (Jira, Service Desk, OpsGenie, Status Page, Confluence)
  • Kandji - Mobile Device Management
  • New Relic
  • AWS
  • Kubernetes (Kops, Kube, Helm)
  • PHP, NodeJS
  • Kafka


  • Accurately record, update and document requests using the IT service desk system.
  • Install and configure new IT equipment
  • Resolve incidents and upgrade different types of software and hardware
  • Resolve incidents with printers, copiers and other office IT equipment
  • Develop support desk reporting and spot common trends
  • Assist all users with any logged IT related incident when called upon
  • Incident management and alert monitoring
  • Monitor core network infrastructure, escalate issues where appropriate directly with external vendors

Experience required:

  • Broad range of infrastructure experience
  • Experience with communication systems, networking, monitoring systems
  • Monitoring and reporting systems to debug issues raised
  • Data storage solutions;
  • Proficient in BASH scripting - nice to have 
  • Experience of working on a service desk
  • Proficient in writing technical documentation
  • Interested in new technology and implementing it
