Our client is an intellectual property (“IP”) firm, acknowledged as being the UK market leader in IP Valuation and IP Sale.

Established in 2003, they have grown to become a young dynamic team of specialists working from offices in Glasgow and San Diego.

They continue to invest in a committed team, based in Scotland, and the expansion strategy is creating opportunities for the team to both widen its skillset, travel and gain more international experience working with US clients.

What they do:

They identify, value and sell IP for a range of clients, big and small, private and PLC, across a variety of sectors.

Their valuation team is focused on analysing a target business, its key resources and the contribution that IP assets make to its competitive advantage.  They get a unique, inside view of what make companies tick – both the successful companies and those that are failing, and why. They also help support other professionals, advising on and facilitating business turnarounds using the value of IP assets to attract rescue funding.

They operate across three IP disciplines: Valuation, Advisory and Corporate Recovery and Restructuring. A Manager/Senior Manager heads up each of the three teams.
