Nine Twenty Technology are delighted to be partnering the recruitment of an Infrastructure Lead - MCSE level for their client in West Lothian.

This role has responsibility for operation, support and maintenance of the technical systems for a new client.

This role would be ideal for a qualified, motivated lead with a high level of professionalism and flexibility with experience of working within a service-led customer focused environment. To succeed you will need to have a genuine desire to help customers and give a great user experience. 

The successful candidate will have the following experience:

  • Operational/management experience
  • Demonstrable experience of working in industry with proven track record of success 
  • VMware Certified Professional, MCSE and ITIL Foundation certificate is desirable 
  • Delivery of customer focused support in a large organisation and in diverse environments and situations
  • Ideally you will have experience of generating knowledge articles and reporting

Key Skills:

  • VMWare ESX 
  • Site Recovery 
  • Citrix/Xenapp 
  • Exchange and Office 365 
  • MS SQL 
  • Those immediatley available will be prioritised 


  1. Incident and Major Incident management, restoring a failed IT service as quickly as possible, and ensuring appropriate workarounds put in place if incidents are not resolvable within the agreed Service Levels. 
  2. Develop and deliver well thought out technical problem resolutions, through understanding of system capabilities, analyzing alternative solutions, preparing system specifications for review.
  3. Access management, granting authorized users the right to use a service, while preventing access to non-authorized users 
  4. Problem management, preventing incident from happening, and to minimize the impact of Incidents that cannot be prevented, maintaining known errors and workarounds 

You will be a highly experienced Infrastructure Engineer with a broad technical skill set gained within a technical operations or infrastructure support environment.
