Global organisation in Glasgow is looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join their team.

You will be involved in Global technical project work and support the mergers and acquisition team; you will also be responsible for ongoing maintenance and support of the infrastructure environment on a BUA basis. The role may involve global travel to support and deploy group solutions.

You will be tasked with day-to-day support and troubleshooting of issues within the company's infrastructure services ensuring you work within agreed SLA's within an ITIL environment.
You will be involved in a variety of Infrastructure projects spanning from day-to-day operational improvements to new service delivery solutions. As part of the Groups plans for growth, we are undertaking a number of mergers and acquisitions; you will be an integral part of this process including design to deployment.
You will be a seasoned Infrastructure professional with in-depth experience across a range of infrastructure platforms; the successful candidate will be passionate about technology and eager to develop their skillset.

Alongside an extensive technical knowledge, you will have experience of working with a variety of high-level stakeholders to represent the Infrastructure function at Group level and will contribute to overall IT strategy.

Providing 3rd / 4th line technical support across the IT Infrastructure environment including network technologies.
You will be involved in a variety of Infrastructure projects spanning from day-to-day operational improvements to new service delivery solutions.   • Experience of VEEAM and Veritas backup solutions
  • Cisco LAN switches, routers and firewall experience
  • Ability to solve network related issues
  • Cisco Unified Communications Manager knowledge
  • Network Design / Architecture experience would be a desirable
  • Security experience would be a desirable
  • Solid Experience with MS Windows Server- Ideally 2008 R2 and 2012 R2 - configuration and support
  • Excellent Experience of Exchange 2010 on premise and migration to O365/Teams
  • Excellent Powershell skills
  • Excellent Virtualisation skills - VMware vSphere 6.x and Hyper-V
  • HP 3Par administration and SAN technologies administration
  • Experienced of administration and troubleshooting within Office 365 and Azure
  • Experienced Skype for Business administration
  • Experience of Active Directory / Group Policy Administration
  • Experience of Citrix Farms XenApp 6/6.5
