The Role:

Nine Twenty’s partner are looking for you to join their team as a Human Resource Manager, reporting directly to the executive board.  As a Human Resource Manager, you will work with a highly skilled team.  Your role will be pivotal in maintaining and growing a happy team and keeping the company up to date with the latest legislation.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a Happy team
  • Help hire the best talent
  • Provide business insight to the team
  • Work with the team to identify and develop their talent, and ensure we create the right learning opportunities for the team
  • Support induction, workforce planning, reward and recognition, career progression, engagement, and survey action planning
  • Deliver diversity and inclusion, encourage open and honest conversations, and allow our people to be themselves at work
  • Help leaders to identify and attract future talent
  • Build our insight in how our people feel and what’s important to them
  • Provide development for managers on how to facilitate team reviews, setting goals and measuring results and how to have regular and human conversations
  • Develop knowledge and experience in managing employee relations as well as lead solutions on issues as they arise
  • Help develop a wellbeing programme, and manage wellbeing conversations with our people

Requirements:

  • A real interest in what we do
  • A progressive, non-bureaucratic and pragmatic approach to HR
  • A willingness to try new things and take some risks
  • Enjoy working as part of a small and agile team
  • Excellent relationship building and communication, with the ability to move between listening to, guiding and coaching others at all levels
  • The ability to make quick, sound decisions based on knowledge and judgment
  • Willingness to learn and grow as the company does
  • Knowledge/ Experience recruiting and using the Visa Sponsorship process
  • Working with third party recruitment companies to hire the best talent in the market
  • Previous exposure to a fast-growing company 
  • Contract and IR35 experience
