We curate on average 10m sqkm of the best of the world’s satellite, airborne and drone imagery every day to create an up- to-date view of our world that everyone can explore, anytime. We also provide intelligence through A/I from earth observation imagery through our API.

We have an immediate opening for a Head of Product based in central Glasgow. Heading the Product Management Practice, and reporting to our Chief Executive Officer, you will work closely with the general management, Commercial Director and CTO to create and execute effective product strategies. Leveraging advancements in product management, you will lead all activities related to market requirements, product strategy, road map, product releases, and product performance for our complete range of solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to articulate Bird.i’s product strategy
  • Define, maintain and Bird.i’s product roadmaps in collaboration with the CTO and CEO.
  • Analyse and define our product positioning (product-market fit)
  • Analyse and prioritize market and customer product requirements
  • Monitor product life cycles and releases
  • Define the pricing structure in collaboration with the CEO, CFO and COO
  • Articulate product launch plans in collaboration with Marketing
  • Gather and analyse users and customers feedback to inform product roadmap and improve our customer experiences

General profile:

  • At least five (5) years’ experience in Product Marketing or/and Product Management related roles
  • Experience with a start-up or a young enterprise is a plus
  • Able to work in teams and collaborate with others
  • Excellence in writing and speaking English
  • Self-motivated with ability to drive teams’ execution
  • Excellent planner, with deadline management skills & project management experience
  • Strong understanding of engineering processes & teamwork experience with R&D and marketing teams
  • Customer & market focused

Technical skills:

  • Experience in product marketing techniques
  • Experience in customer experience & design thinking principles
  • Experience with project management tools
