A rare opportunity has arisen with an interiors brand based in Glasgow, with an exceptional reputation in creating high-quality fabric and furnishings. With a multi-disciplined team of up to 70 staff, this role will sit in the heart of the creative and digital teams.

Last year, the business launched its B2C website which has seen substantial growth. In this key appointment, the successful Head of Creative will be responsible for cultivating and developing the B2C brand in all things digital and content - ensuring that the brand is meeting its full potential. If you have a background in textiles, fashion/apparel, this could be the perfect fit.


The Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for maximizing the business's online potential by enhancing an already strong Brand in both written and visual content.  You will be an inspiring, creative thinker, a leader who has a deep knowledge of managing creative strategies and delivering these with ease.

  • Strong track record in executing well-crafted campaigns and stories from concept to delivery across multiple channels utilizing expansive knowledge of Brand and Digital within a fast-paced environment, and you will have an ability to make decisions and follow them through.
  • Create, develop and manage exciting and inspiring content plans to help grow the brand globally.
  • Ability to plan new launches and online campaigns, liaising with buying and marketing teams.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the current market, competitor activity and highlight future opportunities while focusing on the unique selling points and attributes of the brand.
  • Driving force behind creating innovative ways to merchandise products and improve the customer experience.
  • Ability to lead manage and motivate your team bringing out the best in them.
  • Working closely with marketing analyzing KPI metrics to maximize sales opportunities.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Excellent commercial and functional knowledge of trading an online retail business over multiple websites.
  • A solid understanding of Brands, with experience in creating and developing them utilizing unique visual and captivating content creation skills.
  • Strong digital analytical skills e.g., Google analytics, excel, commercial acumen.
  • Will be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Track record in the ability to see new opportunities, developing hypotheses, analyzing the results, and effectively communicating the outcome and recommendations.
  • Background in the fashion/textile/interiors sector would be advantageous however not essential, style, taste and an exceptional visionary who can create inspiring and exciting visual and written content is key.
  • Comfortable challenging others with an ability to influence the wider business.
  • A strong and enthusiastic can-do approach to solving problems.
  • A results-orientated and motivated self-starter who loves rising to meet a challenge.
  • A fast-paced individual with the ability to make decisions quickly and take ownership of them, leading their team with confidence in order to achieve results.
