This could be your opportunity to work with new technologies and have a high level of autonomy on projects. The business specialises in helping its clients acquire, retain and monetise customers via web and mobile apps in the form of free to play games.

Just last year, they were the winners of the Best Crowdfunded Business in the 2019 Sports Technology Awards and their CEO was the recipient of Service Industries Entrepreneur of the Year at the Great British Entrepreneur of the Year Awards 2019.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited tor:

  • Assist with the development of games from inception to completion. 
  • Collaborating with other technical and design team members to deliver applications on time and on budget. 
  • Work with and support other developers and teammates. 
  • With the help of the CTO undertake thorough Quality Assurance testing on projects, to ensure the final delivery meets requirements and scope. 
  • Continual testing and bug fixing for the apps that we have live. 
  • Attend daily stand-ups and contribute to team planning sessions 
  • Stay abreast of digital tools, platforms and industry trends. 


  • A degree in computer science or other relevant field with a 2:1 or above.
  • Knowledge of one or more of the main technologies they use: React, React Native, Node, HTML/CSS, Postgres, .NET Web API
  • Familiar with source control tools, ideally Git.
  • A passion for delivering high quality user experiences.
  • Great interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving aptitude, ability to think on your feet.
  • Enjoy working closely with others as part of a close-knit team. 

Other useful experience and skills:

  • Experience of other major programming languages or frontend technologies. 
  • Knowledge of some of the other technologies such as, which include Azure, AWS, Docker, Serverless, Postgres and SQL.
