Nine Twenty are looking for Engineers to join an award winning US based organisation who operate in the healthcare space.

Our client are currently seeking people with a passion for providing the right solution at the right time; those who possess a high attention to detail and have excellent problem solving skills, with an innate curiosity and proven ability to problem solve and seek workable solutions; ability to communicate effectively with our customers.

The are looking for individuals who have hands on coding experience (any language considered), a tech background and a great phone manner as this will involve liaising directly with our US clients. This role sits in a very specialised team – working with VBA to produce scripts and tools that further bespoke elements of our software.

Please note: As part of the support team, you will service  customers in multiple time zones across the US. It is necessary to operate a variable shift pattern to ensure all customer needs are met.

Within the ISM function there are two different shift patterns that alternate each week:

  • 9:30am to 5:30pm
  • 2.00pm to 10.00pm 

Salary: £21,000-£23,000

You’ll be:

  • Analysing customer requirements to provide the best solutions program to suit the business needs of our customers
  • Initiating and maintaining contact with customers during implementations to achieve delivery within defined timescales
  • Conducting comprehensive Requirements Gathering Meetings with customers to provide the appropriate interface solutions
  • Project managing implementations with supporting documentation
  • Providing timely and accurate solutions  for the maintenance of customer programs to retain customer satisfaction
  • Documenting progress with customers on the tracking applications to maintain a current record of activities
  • Educating customers on the effective use of Interface Scripting Module (ISM) to ensure their effective usage of the product
  • Following up with customers to review the program and maintain ongoing relationships.
  • Developing knowledge on scripting to the various patient accounting systems to develop a good working knowledge of the ISM
  • Escalating appropriate scripting issues and/or variances with customer process requests to line manager
  • Keeping your  line manager appraised of progress during ongoing projects

They are looking for:

Knowledge

  • A strong working knowledge of VBA or any current programming language
  • A working knowledge of the internal products associated with the interfaces

Skills

  • Programming skills
  • Customer Service skills
  • Requires excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to analyse and solve technical problems
  • Intermediate level of computer proficiency expected, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must have demonstrated an ability to quickly learn and understand new products and features
  • Must have demonstrated an aptitude for learning new technologies and long term thinking
  • Must have demonstrated an ability to troubleshoot and follow complex issues through to resolution

Experience

  • Commercial software development experience or evidence of ability
  • Proven experience analysing customer requirements and providing robust technical solutions in a customer environment
