A rare opportunity has arisen with an interiors brand based in Glasgow, with an exceptional reputation in creating high-quality fabric and furnishings. With a multi-disciplined team of up to 70 staff, this role will be a leader within the E-commerce and Digital teams.

The business's key products are soft furnishings, furniture, wall art, and accessories. Last year the business launched its b2C e-commerce website which has seen substantial growth to achieve a multi-million-pound turnover within 18 months. The Digital Marketing Manager will oversee this aspect of the business’ digital strategy as well as the responsibilities listed below. This role could be perfect for someone with an interest in interiors and décor.


In this key appointment within the business, you will be given a high level of autonomy and be able to lead the Digital and E-commerce functions, while reporting directly to the Directors.

  • Set, manage & report on KPIs & key metrics to measure performance. 
  • Management, strategy, and roadmap of digital marketing channels including PPC, Paid Social Advertising & SEO. 
  • Oversee design, development, and maintenance of websites, working closely with web development and technical support teams.
  • Monitor web traffic statistics, site performance, sales, and ROI. Generate reports to highlight key information and formulate plans for change.
  • Oversee product management, Merchandising, and product data management. 
  • Work with both the planning and purchasing teams to co-ordinate stock allocation and assist in the development of stock integration & replenishment. 
  • Contribute ideas to improve overall department/brand performance. 
  • Implementation of successful strategies producing positive results that can be directly attributed to online activity. 
  • Continual on-site optimisation to improve user experience, customer journey, and conversion rate. 
  • Collaborate with and lead the social and content team to ensure consistent message/imagery across the site and organic social. 
  • Coordination of third-party digital agencies. 

 Essential Requirements:

  • At least 2 years working within an E-commerce and Digital Marketing leadership role.
  • Experience in a busy B2C retail environment.  
  • Successful strategy implementation experience. 
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of Content Management Systems (CMS) Shopify or Magento. 
  • Team management and budget experience.
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS. 
  • Microsoft Excel literate. 
  • Strong understanding of the consumer journey, SEO, CRO, and UX.


  • Email Marketing Experience – Mailchimp. 
  • Design Skills – Adobe Creative Cloud (photoshop). 
  • Sound knowledge of Google Ads. 
  • Facebook Business Manager.
  • Knowledge of SEM Rush or similar SEO tools.
  • A background in a similar industry or interest in textiles/interiors.
