Nine Twenty Sales & Marketing are delighted to work with our client who is based in East Kilbride with the recruitment of a Digital Marketing Executive due to continuous growth.

The Role:

  • To support our ambitious growth plans we are looking for a Digital Marketing Executive with strong commercial acumen and experience in driving sales and profitability
  • This role will be responsible for demand generation and marketing funnel optimisation. We are looking for a data-driven, demand generating expert who’s forward looking approach towards marketing automation, campaign management, and lead generation will help us tighten and improve our marketing funnel and deliver best in class ROI

The Candidate:

The successful candidate will be highly knowledgeable in all aspects of marketing with a particular focus on digital and inbound marketing techniques.  They will also be experienced in liaising closely with the sales team.

They will be responsible for developing and executing all aspects of the marketing plan.  So they need to be able to plan and manage as well as roll their sleeves up and ‘do the doing’.

They will be responsible for generating demand for our services via:

Content Marketing and Management:

  • Develop, implement and manage content programs to grow an audience for our services across a multitude of formats and media (including blog posts, white papers, e-books, reports, webinars, infographics, videos etc) that attracts and grows a qualified audience
  • Develop engagement to publish thought leadership content across relevant 3rd party sites
  • Utilise the in-house expertise available to curate and generate content which will excite and attract customers
  • Craft creative, customer-centric emails that break the mould and drive click-through rates

Demand Generation:

  • Demand generation through content, web, email and innovative communication tools as well as external speaking opportunities for the senior management team
  • Inbound marketing tactics such as paid search, SEO, social media, landing page conversion and email marketing
  • Responsibility for both improving traffic to our existing assets (blog, landing pages, site pages) and implementing new initiatives that will help increase the amount of qualified traffic we get

Conversion Optimisation:

  • Leverage data to make the right decisions around content strategy
  • Define frameworks for measuring and improving our marketing activities and conversion process, their effectiveness, and overall business impact
  • Manage all inbound marketing campaigns analytically with a constant awareness of click through, cost per click and conversion rates

Collaboration:

  • Work collaboratively with the services, sales and management teams to identify new channels and improve communications to the existing customer base
  • Work closely with the Sales & Management Team to grow the sales pipeline to consistently meet monthly revenue goals
  • Build and maintain marketing collateral templates as required
  • Develop, manage and execute the marketing plan

Experience Required:

  • 2+ years demand generation / marketing experience
  • Proven track record of directly contributing to growing pipeline and revenue
  • Expertise in inbound marketing, content marketing and conversion optimization
  • Proficiency in marketing automation processes and systems
  • Experience using standard business applications such as CRM
  • Detailed knowledge of paid SEO campaigns such as via Google AdWords

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with reporting and data analysis
  • Ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven track record of excellent content generation
  • Extremely high attention to detail, including content proofing

Qualifications Required:

  • Preferably educated to degree level in a marketing or business-focused discipline or able to demonstrate equivalent industry experience
