This is a brand new role with a full-service social media agency based on the 'Finnieston Strip'(with remote working, you can be based anywhere! with the odd visit to the office), specializing in creating & managing social-first content. Due to an influx of new clients, they are looking to grow their team considerably. The agency works with clients across various industries (specializing in FMCG & F&B) to build their brand presence on social media, create compelling content and drive digital revenue.
The Role:
As a Digital Designer, you’ll be constantly on the lookout for new skills as the landscape shifts. Fluent in the creative and technical possibilities within social media and how to best capitalize on them, you’ll have an eye on what’s coming and how to maximize the new potential.
With a keen and experienced eye for creative, design will be at the core of your thinking. Be it a logo, a social post, or a web banner, you’ll be adaptable and flexible to make great ideas work as hard as you do. Bringing content to life will be second nature. With animation you’ll be able to shift your thinking to suit the media, be it paid social, organic content, web assets or brand promos. You’ll be well equipped with software knowledge to best execute your vision.
You’ll need to be able to edit with your eyes closed, figuratively speaking. At ease with cutting footage and tracks into an audio/visual thumb-stopper. Adding dynamic effects when required, be it kinetic type, or other client-wow’ing effects. But at the end of the day you should be a thoroughbred designer. Passionate about tech and the creative world around you, always willing to share your discoveries.
