An  opportunity has popped up for a talented Designer to an established Ecommerce business founded in 1965 in Glasgow with deep rooted family values. This is the chance to work in an established and sizeable marketing team with the opportunity for growth. The business operates internationally, selling trade related products to B2C and B2B markets.

Your New Role

They are are looking for a motivated and driven professional with a background in multi-disciplinary skills covering digital design, graphic design and ideally Ecommerce. You will have a hands-on, can do attitude and will be able to communicate ideas to the wider team.

For the B2C(Toolstop) side of the business you will excel in digital design, working heavily with the ecommerce team. For the B2B(Toolsaver) side of the business you will do some print work, and support the print orientated designer.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of the growing dynamic team with great prospects for the future.

 

Skills:

  • Experience of working with an Ecommerce site, and the associated tasks such as updates and email marketing.
  • Experience in email builds and platforms such as Dot Digital and basic html and CSS.
  • Production of materials such as digital marketing collateral (from ecommerce content, social, display banners etc).
  • Experience collaborating with developers.
  • Experience in working to branding.
  • Develop concepts for seasonal, promotional and brand campaigns.
  • Experience in ensuring content is cross platform friendly.
  • Experience across the whole Adobe creative suite.

Beneficial Skills

  • Experience or an interest in UX/UI design.
  • Some web design, experience working a Ecommerce platform would be advantageous.
  • Catalogue design and production.

Qualifications: 

  • Degree qualified or equivalent in a design related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • A portfolio displaying a diverse range of digital work.
