Nine Twenty Technology & Digital are delighted to be partnering with a prestigious global FMCG company in the recruitment of a DevOps Engineer

The Role:

The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for providing the technology stack for continuous development, continuous integration, monitoring & test automation; consult, support and guide the product / service teams to meet the business needs.


  • Responsible for selecting and providing the technology stack for continuous integration, continuous development, monitoring & test automation in alignment across product teams and architects that support the business objectives.
  • Implement, administer and operate DevOps tools supporting efficient continuous integration and effective continuous improvements.
  • Executes performance monitoring of products / services in alignment with infrastructure performance to the required standards of performance.
  • Performs ongoing capacity management and capacity planning across products to meet business targets.
  • Consults with solution vendors and experts to identify best practices and develops and improves the CI/CD environment.
  • Work with the Information Security and Architecture teams to ensure systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.
  • Manage the deployment of new product versions adhering to governance standards and protocols.


  • Educated to degree level in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role.
  • Proficient with expert and DevOps tooling e.g. Git workflow (Atlassian), Ruby, Python, databases, SQL.
  • Relevant certification is desirable.
