Customer Service Consultant  

Working with one of the leading business providers of water in the U.K delivering exceptional levels of customer service and achieving performance targets by taking / making inbound and outbound telephone calls on behalf of the organisation. Your approach and listening skills will be key to understanding what the best course of action is to make a positive impact that really makes a difference. Your duties will consist of contacting businesses regarding outstanding invoices and establishing a resolution to rehabilitate the customer’s situation.

As a Customer Service Consultant, you must be highly motivated, competitive, and focused as well as target driven. You must also be energetic, assertive, positive, and able to handle difficult conversations.

We are dedicated to your learning and development from initial training, offering modern apprenticeship programmes and line manager support which feeds our promote from within structure. Prior contact centre experience is not necessary. We are mostly looking for passionate and empathetic people that we can train and help every step of the way.

The Role:

You will be working as part of a team, but working towards individual targets.

You will be taking/making calls from customers wishing to pay or make arrangements to pay an outstanding debt, you will be required to negotiate and acceptable payment plan with these customers.

You will have to work to a strict client compliance rules including specific Data Protection (DPA) and Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) Stipulations.

Deliver service to all your customers Internal & External that satisfies in spirit the outcomes required by Treating Customer Fairly principles.

Shifts:

 

Option A:

  • 3 Shifts working 8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm and 2 Shifts 9am - 8pm 
  • 8am - 4pm - 30 minutes Lunch with 2 x 15 minutes breaks
  • 9am - 5pm - 30 minutes Lunch with 2 x 15 minutes break
  • 9am - 8pm - 1 Hour Lunch with 2 x fifteen minutes break
  • There is a requirement to work 1 in every 3 Fridays from 10.30am - 7pm with 1 Hour lunch and 2 fifteen minute breaks.

Option B:

  • 3 Shifts working 8am - 5pm or 9am - 6pm and 2 Shifts 10am - 7pm 
  • 8am - 5pm - 30 minutes Lunch with 2 x 15 minutes breaks
  • 9am - 6pm - 30 minutes Lunch with 2 x 15 minutes break
  • 10am - 7pm - 1 Hour Lunch with 2 x fifteen minutes break
  • There is a requirement to work 1 in every 3 Fridays from 10am - 7pm with 1 Hour lunch and 2 fifteen minute breaks. 
  • You would also be required to work 1 in every 3 x Saturday’s from 9am - 1pm which applies to both option A & B.
