Nine Twenty's client is a leading travel business based in Glasgow City Centre, who are looking to add a number of Cruise Plus Consultants to their growing team. This is a telephone based role where you will be dealing with travel partners, such as airlines and booking agents on a daily basis. 

You will be responsible for working with travel partners to build packages to suit the clients bespoke needs, and maximising returns whilst providing a level of service that exceeds all expectations!


Job Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the Team Leader to ensure company sales and productivity targets are achieved
  • Answer all incoming telephone calls and enquiries promptly and within the set Company guidelines.
  • Work  closely with agents to increase and drive revenue
  • Sell and promote air and ground products effectively.
  • In depth knowledge of Worldwide and European cruise products
  • Self validation of Air contracts
  • Liaise with Ground Suppliers to obtain rates, availability and for all special requests.
  • Ensure all visa/health/special need requirements are addressed.
  • Attend training sessions and meetings where applicable.

Experience required:

  • Travel sales experience would be fantastic, selling and dynamically packaging long haul and European cruise products
  • A desire to exceed targets and provide the highest level of service
  • Experience of selling low cost, charter airlines and scheduled airlines
  • An excellent and rounded knowledge of the long haul and European package market offering
  • A genuine passion for travel
  • A travel and tourism qualification or experience travelling to long haul destinations would be beneficial

The salary package consists of a basic starting salary at £15,000+ depending on experience + uncapped bonus.
