This role is within Q-Commerce, which is deemed the next generation of E-commerce. The business has been responsible for delivering £100m of annualised sales for business partners across various verticals(including convenience grocery and hospitality) against other Q-Commerce behemoths. The business has grown to 1,150 partners and some 700,000 users.  The business has ambitious growth plans.

This role will be home-based, but the office is based in Dundee which you can travel to occasionally(it's in your hands) - you can be based anywhere in Scotland. You will report to the Digital Performance Manager and be responsible for generating exponential growth from new and existing customers in a growing marketing team that is currently sitting at 8.

PLEASE NOTE: This role is a 1 Year Fixed Term(Maternity Cover).


The Role

As a Creative and Content Manager, you will support the brand building and content development, enabling the group to stand out with confidence and authority across all channels and audiences, in a sea of highly competitive activity.  You will unlock insights and continually develop the creative direction and development of brand campaigns and assets in innovative ways that resonate with target audiences ensuring that it accelerates the customer journey and supports an ambitious growth strategy.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Establish the creative strategy for the business to ensure flawless execution across all channels
  • Develop the brand guidelines and creative direction of all marketing assets, providing approvals to ensure brand integrity, including voice, tone, design, and messaging in all B2C communications
  • Develop innovative, accessible, and highly engaging social media campaigns
  • You and your team will collaborate with the broader Marketing team to develop impactful content designed to acquire new consumers, retain existing consumers and drive brand engagement
  • Write persuasive copy to create strong and engaging connections with customers and prospects at various points in the purchase journey
  • Edit, proofread and improve the content, responding to feedback to refine your work and others
  • Produce content marketing assets: campaign content, social media, email, pop-ups, videos, website, infographics, leaflets, blog posts, long-form, short-form, and other creative as directed to meet goals
  • Track, measure, and report on content, monitoring the effectiveness of optimisations and sharing results, insights, and best practices with the marketing team
  • Create exciting and seasonally relevant content and maintain a centralised marketing communications calendar
  • Undertake script development for video content and oversee the creative execution
  • Partner with freelancers, influencers, and creative agencies as needed
  • Measure progress and assess the impact of channel-specific strategies and identify further opportunities to create content based on relevant customer insights

Qualifications & Experience                                                                                                                               

  • A university degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or related communications field is required
  • 3+ years’ experience within a creative field focusing on strategic storytelling through content, marketing, or branding from a digital-first brand
  • Specialist knowledge of channel strategies and knows how to drive awareness, engagement, and conversion, with expertise in social media platforms
  • Proven campaign content experience using market messaging, segmentation, audience, and writing personas to create compelling supporting copy and deliverables
  • Demonstrated success with growing traffic and driving revenue through content marketing
  • Developed and managed a content calendar mapped to business objectives
  • Knowledge of SEO, web traffic metrics for relevant web copy
  • Experience using social media marketing and analytics platforms (Hootsuite, and Google Analytics etc.)
  • People management experience leading and inspiring a team to learn and grow
