The Role:

The successful application will be working on a greenfield destop application used to model and calculate commodity distribution on a district/city scale.

The primary languages are C++, using Qt framework, C# and SQL. CMake is used to generate our build environments while Jenkins is used for build automation and Perforce for source control.


  • Developing new features in adherence with coding standards and test requirements
  • Contribute to team discussions and engage with Product Owners
  • Investigate and prototype new technologies


  • Minimum of 4 year’s commercial software development experience
  • Educated to degree level in computer science, physics or a related scientific degree
  • Experience and demonstratable competency in any combination of C++, C# and SQL
  • Knowledge of Object Orientated Programming (OOP) and Test Drive Development (TDD)
  • Willingness to learn and collaborate
  • Experience and familiarity using Visual Studio
