We are now looking for a C++ Software Engineer to join a niche development team who use mathematical modelling techniques & cutting age tools, to develop energy conservation and optimisation techniques.

Required Skills:

• A degree in physics, computing or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years designing and developing scientific software in C++, Fortran or other high performance language.
• Ability to convert complex technical requirements into a plan of work for implementation within an existing application.
• Ability to specify tests to verify new cod
• Passionate about clean code
• Ability to conduct research into unfamiliar technologies or numerical models and devise approaches that will allow these to be included in the simulation engine

Desired skills:

• Control systems experience
• Written scientific code in a commercial environment
• Version control
• Microsoft Visual Studio
