Nine Twenty Technology are delighted to assist in the recruitment of a Business Development Manager on behalf of our well established client who specialise in Cyber Security.  Reporting into the Sales Manager, this position is responsible for pursuing new business opportunities and managing your existing customer relationships within Scotland. Salary on offer is up to £45K base + Commission + Pension. Full training on products and services plus career path for those with the desire to progress.

THE ROLE

  • Establish contact with potential clients to develop and generate interest
  • Present the company and its breadth of capability to potential customers
  • Identify customer needs and suggest appropriate services/solutions
  • Work closely with your accounts to ensure 100% satisfaction and find new opportunities to grow share of wallet
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services
  • Where applicable, manage existing customer relationship and identify cross-sell / up-sell opportunities to grow clients
  • Keep Salesforce.com up to date with activities and accurately reflect pipeline and account activity

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Strong new business sales experience within IT security, either a vendor or reseller.
  • A proven track record of over achieving targets. 
  • A desire to continually learn, pick up new skills and increase your knowledge
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organisational skills
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry and its current events
  • The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
