This newly created channel marketing role has arisen within an International Drinks business that sells in more than 85 global markets. With a headcount of over 800, the business operates as an international arm of an even bigger global drinks giant and specializes in premium drinks, providing some of the fastest-growing products in the market. The business continues to outperform the market.

In this new role, you will drive the translation of the portfolio’s vision and objectives into commercially profitable brand-building activation plans, stretching across all channels from HORECA to e-commerce. You will support the sales-focused operation across all marketing requirements. Taking the global brand platforms available and tailoring them to market needs before executing them to drive volume & value.

This role can be fulfilled from home or blended working between home and office. However, travel across the UK may be required, depending on business needs.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of the annual Activation Calendar, providing initiatives that are prioritized against resource & spend and collectively meet brand, commercial, and customers objectives.
  • To create, develop and manage all marketing programs, integral to the effectiveness of the core brands in the market & respective channels.
  • Work closely with the Channel Marketing team to ensure that brand activity is running in parallel and to deliver annual market Playbooks.
  • Report on the category, key channels, and brands’ market performance.
  • Conduct Presentations during Customer Brand meetings and performance reviews.  
  • Ensure the wider business has a clear view of best practices through evaluation of in-market initiatives and activations and sharing best practice.
  • Effectively evaluate activity on a channel and commercial basis.
  • To control, manage and report on market BTL budget.
  • Highly effective and efficient management of budget.
  • Manage and own professional development in order to achieve work objectives and career and personal goals.

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in a Channel Marketing role – preferably within FMCG/drinks industry.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written) is essential and another EU language skill would be advantageous.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage own workload.
  • Ability to think creatively.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication & presentation skills.
  • Good influencing skills.
  • Strong commercial understanding.
  • Degree Educated would be preferred but not required.
