Automation Developer - Glasgow

The Role:

This is a Software Developer role, the role is primary writing unit tests (C#), API integration tests (Python) and automated UI tests (Selenium Web Driver). You will work with the latest technologies, learn something new every day and use your initiative.

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

• You will be building automated tests for the cloud
• Selenium testing and API testing using python
• You will be tracking bugs, resolving issues and enhance product quality
• You will be come a subject matter experience of the tools
• Update product documentation
• Contribute to continuous integration

Your background:

• Educated to degree level in computing, physics or a related scientific degree
• Experience of developing software in C#, Python or other 3GL
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Able to work as part of a development team, with multiple goals and deadlines
• Knowledge of at least two unit testing frameworks
• Knowledge of automated UI testing
