The Company…

Our Client is a privately-owned collection of diverse and forward-thinking companies specialising in the housing sector. They are a provider of Technology, Engineering & Construction.  Its multi-disciplined group has grown organically over the past 50 years, and it employs over 250 people, specialising in various market sectors, including land acquisition, construction, architecture, consultancy, software development, mechanical and electrical installation, fire detection, sprinkler systems, and district heating.

The Requirements…

The role will involve working as a software developer in an agile Scrum team you will be;

  • Supporting continued development of the mobile application.
  • Supporting continued development of other existing mobile applications on iOS and Android.
  • Supporting development of new mobile applications on iOS and Android.

Your background and experience:

  • A formal qualification (Degree) in Computing Science or equivalent experience with a high level of academic achievement.
  • Experience developing complex software products for production usage (preferably 3 years commercial experience)
  • Experience implementing time critical, business critical software, carrying out test driven development in an agile team.
  • Experience developing Mobile applications on Android.
  • Android developers should have experience developing Android applications in Java.

Extra Brownie points for;

  • Experience working with IOS

The Projects current and future

Our Client develop applications on multiple cloud, on-premises and mobile platforms for the social housing, rail and construction sectors. 

You will be working on projects for public sector within the IoT space.
