Account Manager, Basic up to £26K OTE £46K

With sustained growth and exciting new contracts for 2019/2020, we are actively recruiting experienced Account Managers to join our commercial team. The role will be 50% account management and 50% new business so it’s important that any person considering this role has a strong background in new business. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and be responsible for managing clients from local SME’s to international accounts, as such an ability to build rapport at all levels is essential.  Training and support offered on the job and external training available.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Managing a base of established accounts
  • Regular client engagement
  • Monitoring of current client investment to establish campaign progress
  • Increasing client base through new business sales – utilising email marketing, LinkedIn and cold calling
  • Attending networking events

Essential

  • Minimum of 2 years account management or new business sales
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to converse comfortably with director level contacts

Desirable

  • Experience building an account base
  • Ability to engage prospects both inbound and through cold calling
  • Basic understanding of the IT marketspace
